Affiliate terms

Commission

You earn 10% of the cash we receive from customers you refer, net of tax, for every paid invoice while their subscription stays active. There is no cap on how much you can earn.

Team-seat and bring-your-own-key revenue count toward commission. If a referral credit pays part of an invoice, commission is calculated on the remaining cash received.

All amounts are in US dollars.

Attribution

A customer counts as referred when they subscribe within 30 days of first clicking your link or entering your code. A customer who has ever paid SeaMeet before is never attributed to you.

If a referred customer cancels and resubscribes within 30 days of the subscription ending, they stay yours; after 30 days they do not.

Audience discount

Your audience gets 10% off their first 12 months with your code. One code per affiliate.

Payouts

Commission clears a 30-day hold after each invoice. On the 1st of each month we prepare a statement; PayPal payouts follow once your cleared balance reaches $50. Payouts are manual in v1.

You are responsible for your own taxes. Once your payouts in a calendar year pass $600, further payouts pause until we have your tax form on file — Form W-9 if you are a US person, Form W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E otherwise.

Reversals

Refunds, disputes, and credit notes reverse the matching commission. If a reversal lands after a payout, your balance can go negative; future commission nets against it, and payouts resume once the net clears $50.

What is not allowed

No self-referrals, no submitting your code to coupon or deal sites, no advertising on our brand name, no misleading claims about SeaMeet, and no incentivized sign-ups.

Suspension and ending

Violations suspend your affiliate account: the promotion code is deactivated and new referrals stop being attributed, while commission on existing referrals keeps accruing and pending payouts freeze. Earned-but-unpaid commission is paid at the next batch unless the violation is fraud, in which case it is forfeited.

Either side may end the affiliation with 30 days notice; commission earned until then is paid out.
